Registration Types

All registration fees are quoted in Australian dollars and include all local taxes.

  • Student Registration - $550.00
    To obtain the Student Registration rate you must be studying full time.

Are you an Indigenous person living in or operating a business in Victoria? If so, you may be eligible to receive a free full registration for the Yulkuum Jerrang Conference, Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner event. Accommodation is also available for regional delegates. Accommodation will be booked on a twin share basis if appropriate.

If you are interested in attending the Conference as a Victorian Indigenous community delegate, please complete the Expression of Interest form and return by Friday 7 October 2011. You will receive a receipt once your application has been received, and you will be notified of an outcome once your application has been reviewed.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations must be notified to the Conference Office in writing by 19 September 2011 to receive a full refund. Cancellations after this date will not be accepted. However delegates may transfer their registration to another person.

Dress Code

Please note that dress standard for the Conference will be smart casual.

Name Badges

All delegates will receive a name badge upon registration. This badge is the official pass and must be worn at all times to gain entry to conference sessions and social events.

Insurance

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide such insurance coverage. The organising committee and the Conference Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

Force Majeure

The Department of Business and Innovation (DBI) reserves itself the right to cancel without notice or compensation the 3rd Victorian Economic Development Conference in the event of force majeure cases. For example, but not limited to acts of nature such as fire, earthquake, hurricane, flood or terrorist attacks. In such cases, the DBI is freed of all responsibility.

In the event of it being impossible for the DBI to carry out the 3rd Victorian Economic Development Conference for force majeure cases, so long as this arises from a cause not attributable to, DBI shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparing the event. This liability only extends to the payments made directly to the 3rd Victorian Economic Development Conference and not to payments made by the attendees to the hotel or airlines.
